The city of Nashua is located in Hillsborough County in Southern New Hampshire. With a population of @87k is the second largest city in the state. Located close to the MA border, Nashua is less than an hour’s drive from Boston and has easy access to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and Logan International Airport. It has an historic downtown district, pedestrian-oriented neighborhoods, many parks, and good schools. It is home to Baboosic Lake, popular for swimming in the summer and skating in the winter. Hollis is a small bedroom community on the Massachusetts border. Old Home Days is an annual celebration in September, with rides, a parade, fireworks and live music.
