Giving Tuesday - Katie Tully Nominates The En Ka Society

This year has been challenging for many people. Now more than ever we understand the importance of supporting the work of charitable organizations in our community and beyond. Our agents all have organizations close to their hearts that they support through the giving of their time, money or resources. On Tuesdays, we want to help them by lending our social media voice to their favorite cause. Today Katie Tully shares one of her favorite volunteer organizations – The En Ka Society of Winchester.  The En Ka Society is a volunteer organization comprising more than 200 women in Winchester. The society runs the En Ka Exchange vintage clothing store and the hugely popular annual En Ka Street Fair.

"I am honored to be a new member of The En Ka Society.  En Ka annually provides thousands of “woman hours” to Winchester non-profit organizations - providing volunteer drivers for Meals-on-Wheels, readers for Winchester nursing homes, packers for the Winchester Got Lunch program and much more.  They also provide confidential financial support for those experiencing hardship.  Their commitment to service in the community is what I love, knowing you are doing work that matters for those who need it most. "
