Winchester Hospital Gala Raises $350,000 for Center for Cancer Care
WINCHESTER, Mass. – More than 600 leaders from the health care, business and local community recently attended Winchester Hospital’s One Shining Night Gala, which raised $350,000 for Winchester Hospital’s Center for Cancer Care at 620 Washington St. in Winchester. The black-tie event was held at the Westin Waterfront Hotel in Boston.
“The funds raised by the gala are crucial to ensuring that our patients have access to state-of-the-art technology close to home,” said Kevin Smith, president and chief executive officer of Winchester Hospital. “Through the years, Winchester Hospital has consistently responded to community need, and our new cancer center will provide access to the most advanced health care for generations to come. We are very appreciative of the wonderful support we receive year after year from our sponsors, donors and staff.”
